Aisha Hesso: International silence about Afrin is continuation of plot targeted Ocalan

PYD held a meeting in Mohammed Sheikho Center for Culture and Art in Qamişlo city on Monday to talk about the international conspiracy that targeted the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan. The co-chair of PYD, the martyrs’ families and the residents of Qamişlo attended the meeting.

The meeting started by holding a minute of silence. After that, Aisha Hesso talked about the last political developments ongoing in the area during the meeting and said, “Today, we are witnessing a sensitive and fateful stage, and the foreign and regional counties’ intervention into the Syrian affairs was the reason for prolonging and complicating the crisis. Each party strives at achieving personal gains at the expense of the Syrian people’s blood.”

Aisha pointed out that the Turkish occupation state that occupied Afrin after a resistance lasted for 58 days by YPG and YPJ fighters and Afrin residents continues its violations following the policy of the demographic change, looting the possessions, kidnapping the residents and others. All these occur in front of the world that is watching without doing anything.

Aisha assured that the international conspiracy against Afrin is the continuation of the international conspiracy that reached the leader Ocalan, but the leader with his resistance, thought and philosophy managed to foil the conspiracy. Today, by virtue of Rojava Revolution and the sacrifices of the area’s peoples, the project of the democratic nation that is the product of the leader Ocalan’s thought calling for passion, peace and co-existence is applied. People’s standing in solidarity with each other and following the leader’s approach would foil the conspiracy and liberate all the occupied areas.   

Aisha Hesso assured in the conclusion of her speech that the martyrs’ families are the owners of the revolution because they sacrificed the most precious they have for the sake of freedom and dignity, and Aisha called for the Martyrs’ Families Council to participate in the party’s activities that is scheduled to be held in the canton in the next period.
