'Through Imrali Resistance, We Will End Occupation'

Rojava Youth Union in al-Hasakah canton in al-Jazeera region organized a night march in Tel-Tamar district, in which young people from different regions participated in the march.

The march took place in the context of events in northern Syria by the 20th anniversary of the October 9, 1998 plot, after Ocalan left Syria and continued until his arrest on  February 15-1999.

The march took place in front of Rojava Youth Center in Tel Tamar district, and many neighborhoods moved to "Martyr Jinda Ronahi" neighborhood amid the chanting slogans demanded Ocalan's freedom.

The youth also raised a banner with a picture of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, and a phrase in Kurdish and Arabic was written next to it, 'Through Imrali Resistance, We Will End The Occupation'

After the march stopped in "Martyr Jinda Ronahi" neighborhood, a member of the Rojava Youth Union Lava Maami, read a statement issued by  the union stating that the severe isolation that Ocalan has undergone in Imrali for four years is contrary to all international human rights and norms.

Lava pointed out that the Turkish state of fascism is trying to divide the peoples of the region from the thought and philosophy of Ocalan, which sees these peoples as a lifeline to reach freedom.

She noted that as a youth they would fight to the last point until Ocalan reaches his freedom.

Furthermore, the youth burned the images of Erdogan.
