' Journalists must work to show reality of Turkish occupation state'

The Turkish occupation state has recently arrested a number of journalists, and politicians. In this regard, ANHA agency met with the journalist and writer in "Ozgur Polîtîkayê " Rojbîn Ekin, who reported that the aim of the arrest of women journalists was to distort the fact of women activists  and to collapse of society as a whole.

Rujbin noted that the AKP is working to exterminate the society and obliterate the rights of the Kurdish people, so it has intensified the pressure on journalists and politicians. This time, a large number of women journalists were arrested who are working to show the reality of the struggler woman.

Rojbîn Ekin noted that the recent arrests by the Justice and Development Party (AKP) are only a series of repression and genocide against the Kurdish people in Bakur, Kurdistan, she said, "The goal of the Justice and Development Party is to break the will of society by eliminating the role of women in it, because they understand that freedom of society begins with the freedom of women struggling and resistance in the face of terrorism practiced against them."

Rojbîn Ekin explained that this is not the first time targeting female journalists by the Turkish state, as the Turkish occupation state has closed several agencies for women, including the women's agency "JINHA", and banned "Şûjin" agency, which showed the reality of women and the voice of women free in all parts of Kurdistan, the Turkish occupation state continues to target society by targeting free women, especially women journalists who are working to expose their practices and to show the reality of free women."

Rojbîn Ekin added, "It is time to strengthen our role and work to show the reality of the Turkish occupation state to the public opinion and the world."
