Outcome of YPG operations against occupation army, mercenaries during September

The Media Center of the People's Protection Units issued a written statement to the public opinion, in which it revealed the results of operations of the People's Protection Units against the Turkish occupation army and the mercenaries during September.

The text of the statement:

"The Turkish state and its mercenaries exploit all opportunities to stand in front of the presence of a democratic Syrian project and western Kurdistan, an attempt by escalating its violations against the civilians in Afrin, the Turkish occupation wants through demographic change to remain within the territory of Afrin. The activities and violations of the Turkish state and its mercenaries increase in September, as demanding of ransom, kidnapping and torture, and within this framework our forces in the People's and Women's Protection Units escalate their attacks on the Turkish state and its mercenaries, our forces respond legitimately to the excesses of the Turkish state along the border between western Kurdistan and its north.

The outcome of the operations that targeted the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in September is as follows:

Our units carried out 38 different military operations, including bombings, sniper, arrests and ambushes against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, and the results were as the following:

74 mercenaries and soldiers killed by the Turkish occupation (11 Turkish soldiers, including an officer, 63 mercenaries).

37 mercenaries and soldiers of the Turkish occupation (including 6 Turkish soldiers and 31 mercenaries).

The operations of our units resulted in the capture of 13 AK-47s, in addition to 1 MG-3 weapon.

The operations of our units resulted in the destruction of a headquarter and 6 military vehicles, in addition to the destruction of a T55 tank.

The Turkish occupation targeted civilians on the border between Kobanî, Qamişhlo, Girê Spî, and Serêkaniyê as a result, three civilians, including a child, were wounded and civilian properties were severely damaged.

As part of the campaign of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces in the name of "the Battle to defeat terrorism" on 10 September, our forces in YPG, YPJ under the umbrella of the Syrian Democratic Forces play a key role in the campaign.

The campaign launched to liberate Hajin city known as the last strongholds of the terrorist organization is making great progress, which has taken liberating civilians as a target. The campaign, which began 20 days ago, has liberated several strategic points and villages and freed hundreds of civilians.

The campaign is still ongoing with the will of our forces, and as a result of the revelation of the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces about the results of the September battles which have continued for 20 days, we will not discuss proceeds in detail.

Two foreign leaders were arrested in connection with Daesh organization by the Special Units (YAT), on 19 September, and in the villages of Koba and Wajda of Shekhler district, south-west of Kobanî. At the same time, units of Asayish have launched a campaign against the mercenaries of the Turkish state and the terrorists of Daesh, and as a result of this process, dozens of mercenaries had been arrested and a large quantity of explosive devices to carry out terrorist operations had been found, two B-7 bombers, 10 missiles of this kind,11 AK-47 rifles, 14 mobile phones, 4 radios, 9 pistols, shootings and other military tools and military missions.

We, as YPG, YPJ pledge to continue the struggle at a high rate against the Turkish occupation and all those who are targeting the gains of our people achieved by the great sacrifices also we pledge to continue in the qualitative military operations
