Other 6 detainees accused of being within IS released

In the presence of notables of the Senate in al-Hasaka canton, al-Hasaka Council and commanders of SDF, the Public Relations Center of SDF of al-Hasaka in north of Syria released on Tuesday other 6 detainees who were accused of being belonged to IS mercenaries whose hands have not been stained with the Syrians’ blood.

During their release, many speeches were delivered by the Joint Presidency of al-Hasaka canton Samar al-Abdullah, thanking SDF for this initiative and responding to the mediation and guarantee of the clans’ sheikhs on the principle of the fraternity of peoples and co-existence among all components.

Samar al-Abdullah added, “Our enemies lie in our areas to strike the security and stability witnessed in the area so we must stand in solidarity to create a better future as our common goal and destiny oblige us to join together to stand against the threats and to instill a spirit of tolerance and fraternity among the area's components.”

In his turn, the commander of SDF Shiyar Hasaka welcomed all the area's dignitaries who have a role in strengthening passion and fraternity among all the components of the area, pointing out that the path of their forces is clear which is struggling for humanity, preserving the co-existence and brotherhood and liberating everybody from oppression.

The commander said that the release of these detainees also comes to give them a chance to correct the course of their life and serve their people.

Al-Sheikh Go’ud Abu Mizer spoke on behalf of the elders of the Arab tribes in al-Shaddadi and said, “Our areas have been controlled by IS for three years and we have suffered from atrocities, injustice and terrorism at the hands of the mercenaries. Thank God we have been got rid of IS, and now, we live in peace and security in our areas thanks to SDF that liberated us.”

For his part, the representative of the Kurdish Elders Council Jamal Khalaf Bero described SDF’s initiative as good and that it aims to create tolerance and passion in the society, pointing out that these detainees are the residents of the area and that the way must be open to anyone who wishes to return to the right track.

Bero thanked SDF’s command and wished more works that indicate their spirit of humanity to build a better future for all young people.

The released detainees then vowed to not carry out actions that would harm the society and to not join the terrorist gangs.

Then, the detainees were handed over to their families after being guaranteed by the clans’ notables and sheikhs.

It is worth mentioning that SDF’s General Relations Committee released 17 detainees who were accused of being in the ranks of IS mercenaries on Monday so the number of the released reached 23 within two days.
