Lieutenants Ahmed, Hani who were cheated by Peshmerga Rojava

The groups that call themselves "Peshmerga Rojava", which was founded to be used against the gains of the Rojava people at the request of Masoud Barzani and the Turkish state, appeared in several places and caused many problems and crises. The aim was to create strife among the Rojava people, and the Khanasor clashes is a perfect example.

Ahmed Yousef from Qamishlo city people joined the forces of the so-called "Peshmerga Rojava" formed by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in 2012, thinking that he would participate in the defense of Rojava lands, but the reality was quite the opposite, the force that Yusuf split from later was a tool for the political interests of the KDP and the Turkish state.

In an interview conducted by ANHA agency with the two young men who split from Peshmerga Rojava with a rank of first lieutenant, Ahmed Yousef said that the main objective of the formation of Peshmerga Rojava is to combat and fight the People and Women Protection Units to prevent forming a  free military force in Rojava, the so-called Peshmerga Rojava was formed by KDP  to be as a tool in its hand and in partnership with the Turkish state.

Yousef pointed out that the Kurdistan Democratic Party(KDP) cannot take any decision about these groups without the knowledge of Turkish President Erdogan because Erdogan is considered the main president of that group.

We realized that the KDP's goal is only to achieve personal interests and not the protection of the Rojava lands

Yousef noted ,"The authorities in the Başûr Kurdistan region cheated the young men of Rojava when they opened the border to join the ranks of the Peshmerga in preparation for entering and protecting the lands of Rojava and protect it."

In 2015, Peshmerga Rojava was scheduled to enter Rojava to fight against the IS mercenaries next to YPG and YPJ. At that time, the KDP requested that the town of Rumailan and some other areas be under its control, and we realized that the KDP's aim was to achieve personal interests only not the protection of the Rojava lands and Kurdistan.

He added ,"I participated in the 6 years of joining the Peshmerga forces in many fronts, including Jia Zerdki, Khazar, Zammar, Rabia, Şengal, Hamo Kole, al-Sadd and Baqola." Kar

Peshmerga leadership ordered us to fight YPG and YPJ in Şengal

In the context of the attack carried out by Peshmerga Rojava and Peshmerga of KDP on Khanasor in Şengal, Yousef said that orders were issued by the Peshmerga to go to Şangal and to fight the People's and Women's Protection Units "during mercenary attacks on Şengal and with the entry of YPG and YPJ in Şengal the Peshmerga leadership ordered to fight YPG and YPJ , and there the problems emerged between the Peshmerga and Peshmerga Rojava."

Yousef added," when they asked Peshmerga Rojava to go to Şengal, most Peshmerga Rojava members refused that and many of them withdrew. Many of them were going to Şengal to fight terrorism and support YPG and YPJ."

As for the refusal of many elements of the Peshmerga Rojava to fight the YPG and YPJ in the events of Khanasor, Yousef commented.

After the rejection of many Peshmerga Rojava fighters in Khanasor, the KDP military leaders held a meeting for the Peshmerga Rojava on why they refused to fight the YPG and YPJ, where they say that the units will control Şengal and take it as its headquarters".

Ideological training was centered around the distortion of YPG and YPJ by inciting us against them'

Yousef pointed out that the intellectual training received by Peshmerga Rojava focuses on distorting the reality of the YPG and YPJ in all fields. They also convinced the young men of Peshmerga Rojava that the YPG and YPJ are not the force that can protect Rojava and they are arresting and handing over the young men of Rojava, to the Syrian regime and that they are the enemies of the Kurdish cause.

He added ,"We realized that there was no truth to those ideas published by the Democratic Party between us and we were certain that the YPG and YPJ were the only force that could protect and defend Rojava and the north of Syria and have a goal of forming a joint force of all components to defend Rojava against the foreign attacks.

Ahmed Yousef said in his speech that the KDP exercised all deception tactics in order to recruit the young men of Rojava in Peshmerga Rojava, and to serve as a tool of its interests in Rojava. This led to the split of many young men joining the Peshmerga Rojava and to go to the homeland and achieve the goal of protecting Rojava lands in the ranks of Self-Defense Duty.

Hani is also a young man who was deceived by the KDP's policy

Hani, from Qamishlo city, joined Peshmerga in 2013 hoping to return to Rojava to defend it, but Hani, like all other young men, was deceived and exploited by the KDP policy.

Hani also said that the goal of forming Peshmerga Rojava  by KDP is to achieve its interests and not to defend the Rojava lands or to defend any area of Kurdistan, but  to hostile the Kurdish people and fighting YPG and YPJ.

Hani added,' I could not stay any longer among Peshmerga because I could not bear what I was watching. In fact, those forces were hostile to the Kurdish people. They were commanding our Peshmerga and we could not move without their orders that is why I split from them."

The victories achieved by the blood of the martyrs and the resistance of YPG and YPJ in Rojava inflamed the hearts of Hani, Ahmed and their comrades to return home and have an imprint in the revolution of freedom the Rojava and northern Syria Revolution.
