Intensive preparations to receive winter

The "stock house" of the Women's Council of al-Tabqa city intensifies its efforts to prepare the winter supplies for the coming year. It has finished preparing many of the requirements of stocking some kinds of food and started other types.

The Women's Council in al-Tabqa opened the stock house project on 17 August, providing a job opportunity for 15 women, as well as its contribution to supporting the economy of women and encouraging women to self-reliance.

Women working in the house continue their work to receive winter, preparing many kinds of supplies. The workers finished processing about 48 kg of Molokhia after they were harvested, dried and packed in bags.

Currently, women are making peppers, five to six bags a day

Deputy Director of Mortar House, Batul al-Aliwi said that the products will be delivered through the stock house and the Cooperative association, which will contribute to the opening of the house at reasonable prices competing in that the local markets, adding that new products will be manufactured according to its requirements, availability and demand.
