Swiss Arta film prepares film about struggle of women in Rojava

In the film "Following Tayaro Traces", actors known in Rojava, such as Juma Mohammed, known in the area as "Bavi Tayyar", the actress "Berivan Oso" and "Hajar Hajar", will act in the movie, they are members of the Martyr Osman Cultural and Artistic Band affiliated of the Defense and Self-Protection Body in al-Jazeera region

According to the work, the film is expanded and includes several topics within the geographical range of Rojava, Başûr Kurdistan, Turkey’s Istanbul, Western countries such as Greece, Britain and Switzerland.

The Arta Film Company chose the home of the Kurdish artist Juma Mohammed, known as Bavi Tayyar in the neighborhood of al-Antaria in Qamişhlo of al-Jazeera region as location for the film.

The film tells the story of Bavi Tayyar, who plays the role of a father who has one boy, his name Tayyaro and 15 young women, Tayyaro abandons home due to pressure immigrating to the European countries. The father also reaches to a state where he leaves his young daughters and goes to join his son, when the father arrives there, he hears news of the martyrdom of his daughter within the ranks of the Women's Protection Units and then returns home with his son.

Highlighting the revolution of women in Rojava

The film highlights the revolution of women in Rojava and its heroic and revolutionary role during the revolution, who became a leader on all fronts, especially on the fronts of fighting, and sacrifices made to protect the values ​​and the cause of women and free them from injustice and slavery.

The film also sheds light on women defending the homeland on the front lines, while some young men flee abroad and fail to perform their duty to defend the homeland and face the dangers facing their land.

The film aims to encourage young people who have been displaced abroad as a result of the country's crisis to return to their homeland rather than living in countries as refugees and strangers

Director Khamgin Saleh told ANHA, "We want to deliver four messages on how young people live abroad after exiting the country and how to return to their country, the role of the father in dealing with his young daughters and the impact of the departure of the youth abroad while only the young women remain.

The film will be screened for the first time in four parts of Kurdistan. The film will feature a hero and four women representing each woman in parts of Kurdistan. "If we succeed and excel in our work, we will participate in the film at the World Cinema Festival," he said.

Kurdish actor Juma Mohammed, known throughout Kurdistan as Bavi Tayyar, said that although he had prepared and composed several films, but it was the first time he had participated as an actor in such a film, adding that they were trying their best to make the film work.

The Arta film team is set to work on another film about how Arta Film team will come to Rojava.

The film, which was created by Arta Film from Switzerland to Rojava, was founded 10 years ago in Switzerland. It is directed by the film director and screenwriter Khamgin Saleh, the film director of Arta Film, and directed by Akhin Kanisna as assistant director, Christian Clav Deger as a cameraman, Martha Krais, a voice producer, Abdul Rahman Ali as production director, and Rory Kula Rice photographer.
