Mass demo in Girkê Legê supporting resistance of Afrin

Thousands of people from Girkê Legê, Çil Agha, Tel Koçer districts marched  in demonstration to stand in solidarity with the resistance of the people of Afrin against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in the area of ​​ Girkê Legê.

The slogans in the march were, "We are with you Afrin forever", "Liberation of Afrin and the liberation of Syria from the Turkish occupation is our duty", "No to the demographic change in Afrin", "We condemn the international silence about Turkey's violations in Afrin. "

When the march arrived in the middle of the public street, they stood a minute of silence, after that, the co-chair of Girkê Legê council Muhammad Jamil gave a speech where he said, "The freedom of the people and the consolidation of the democratic nation among the people is the basic principle of our people. Therefore, everyone in North Syria is carrying out activities to liberate Afrin from the Turkish occupation, this is our duty, because the capitalist countries aim to a demographic change in Syria to occupy its territories through terrorist gangs and dismantle the society. "

"The liberation of Afrin is a duty of every individual in Syria, because the Turkish enemy is trying to change Syria's demographics and create strife among its people, and we condemn the international silence about these massacres committed against the people of Afrin," said a member of the Academy of the Democratic Community Movement in Çil Agha district Omar Haboun.

The solidarity march ended with slogans echoing the peoples' brotherhood and the resistance of Afrin.
