Demo in Tal Temer to support Afrin's resistance

TEV-DEM organized a mass demonstration in Tel-Temer area of al-Hasakah canton, with the participation of all the components of the city (Kurd, Arab and Assyrian), condemning the international silence regarding the violations, and looting in Afrin

The demonstrators held pictures of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and the flags of the People's and Women's Protection Units, the demonstration took place in front of the Martyrs' Families Foundation and toured the central market's street in the area, amid chanting slogans calling for ending the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries from Afrin and saluting the resistance of its people.

With the arrival of the protesters to the roundabout in Tal Temer, the people hold a minute of silence, then, the administrator in TEV-DEM Muhammad Sheikhdoms delivered a speech, stressing that the Turkish occupation army failed to hit the gains achieved by the peoples of the region.

He pointed out that "the recent attacks that targeted Afrin stemmed from the extent of their hatred, although the city of Afrin since the first day of the Syrian revolution embraced thousands of Syrian people who were displaced from their homes because of mercenaries of the Turkish occupation."

TEV-DEM's administrator  condemned the International silence and the inhuman practices about the massacres committed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries against Afrin people and stressed that Afrin is for its people.

At the conclusion of the demonstration, the demonstrators chanted slogans praising the resistance of the people of Afrin against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

It is worth mentioning that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries launched an attack on January 20  using  various types of heavy weapons by road and air on Afrin canton and occupied it after 58 days of resistance .
