Battle to defeat terrorism: 26 IS mercenaries killed , 1 IS' reconnaissance plane landed

Today, SDF's media center issued a statement to the public in which it disclosed the outcome of a day of "Battle to defeat terrorism " which aims to liberate Hajin area, the last stronghold of IS east of the Euphrates river.

Al-Bagouz axis

After our troops completed liberating the town , they carried out searching operations of IS hidings within the town and the orchards , also the Military Engineering teams launched a searching operations of the mines planted by the mercenaries where dozens of them dismantled.

This axis witnessed the movements of mercenaries, where they tried to move towards the town, under the cover of shelling with heavy and medium weapons, and the participation of snipers in targeting the positions of our fighters, our forces clashed with them in more than one point contact and defeated them and one sniper was killed.

The mercenaries used a reconnaissance plan above al-Bagouz , but our forces landed it.

Today's morning the Collation warplanes targeted a tunnel of IS, resulted in killing of 3 mercenaries .
