After revolution, we understood leader Ocalan’s statements

The Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan, during a visit to Syria in the eighties and nineties, met many people who were influenced by him, after exiting Syria and due to the international conspiracy in 1999, the Turkish occupy state is imposing now intense isolation on him preventing his attorney from seeing him under take pretexts.

During his visit to Syria and Lebanon, the leader met many people including mother Shamsa Ismail: mother of martyr Sadiq Kobani, our agency has met with mother Shamsa, who described her meeting as a dream that came true.

Mother Shamsa Ismail said, “I met the leader in 1990, where he was staying in Lebanon, I headed with many other residents to meet him there, despite the difficulties we faced on our way, but we were determined to reach there in order to meet the leader.”

Mother Shamsa said that before meeting the leader, she was very eager and excited to meet a person who dedicated his life to the service of his suppressed people, making the cause of women his priority and major base for the movement he established.

Ocalan aims to liberate all peoples from authoritarianism

Shamsa noted that the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan held many meetings saying, “The leader held for us many a meeting, majorly revolving around people liberation from injustice practiced by the authoritarian regimes which rules the world, as well as discussing the way women obtain their freedom.”

 “A free woman means a free society”

Shamsa said that the leader focused on women freedom asserting ‘a free woman means a free society’, adding, “We did not realize then what the leader was saying about women freedom, but now after the revolution in north Syria, I realized the true sense of his statements.”

The isolation aims to undermine will of people believing in Ocalan perspectives

Mother Shamsa said that the Turkish occupying state aims to break the will of a people who believes in Ocalan and absorbed his thought as a principle in their lives, stating, “Isolation imposed on the Kurdish people leader will not undermine our will, we will continue our march on the freedom road, and get rid of the authoritarian regimes.”
