Studying of opening school for deaf, dumb, call for support of al-Raqqa especially in agriculture, health

During an interview with ANHA Agency with the Director of the Organizations' Office in the Civil Council of al-Raqqa, Turki al-Dandal said: "Organizations should support al-Raqqa in all fields, whether from education or health, and most importantly, the agricultural field because supporting the agricultural situation in al-Raqqa is the major food basket for the rural and urban people.

The Organizations' Office works to coordinate between the organizations which want to provide support and guidance to the areas that need to work in the health, education, service and humanitarian fields, in addition to the distribution of aid delivered to the office by type.

Currently, the Office is conducting the study of the opening of the deaf and dump School in al-Raqqa for the presence of many children suffering from this disability.

In this context, al-Dandal said: "In many meetings with the organizations, we called to provide a center in al-Raqqa for the installation of prostheses because there are many people in al-Raqqa city who have lost their limbs because of what happened in al-Raqqa due to wars and what the mercenaries had done against the residents from cutting to hands and legs.

He said: "We received 12 thousand seats and 20,000 bags and 1,200 boards from one of the organizations that supported education. They were handed over to the Education Committee, which in turn distributed them to schools that need seats and boards.

As for the agricultural situation in the northern countryside, al-Dandal said that a contract has been signed with one of the organizations to rehabilitate Tal al-Samen pump located in the northern countryside, which irrigates thousands of hectares in the village of Tal al-Samen, al-Hisha, Khezat, al-Sherakrak and al-Fatesa, to support agriculture in the northern countryside

The relief basket is not enough to secure a living for the people in al-Raqqa

Turki al-Dandal pointed out that the relief basket is not enough to ensure the livelihood of the people because supporting the agricultural situation in al-Raqqa is the largest food basket that is provided to the people in general. The organizations or supporters must come to al-Raqqa city and inspect it on the ground, at the same time, it needs financial, moral, and service support, not just relief.

The Director of the Organizations' Office in the Civil Council of al-Raqqa Turki al-Dandal thanked all the organizations and associations working to provide support to the people in al-Raqqa and its countryside.
