People of Kobanî revolt against Turkish occupation's violations in Afrin

In the Free Woman Square in Kobanî city, thousands of the residents gathered to prepare for the launch of a demonstration that organizers said it comes to denounce the Turkish violations in Afrin and demand the liberation of the mercenaries and occupiers.

In the first rows, hundreds of residents of the Afrin canton existent in Kobanî marched, while banners reading "No to demographic change in Afrin", liberation of Afrin is the liberating of Syria from terrorism and Turkish occupation, we condemn the international silence about what is happening in Afrin.

The demonstration launched a few moments ago with the participation of thousands chanting slogans "Long live to the Resistance of Afrin, Long live to the Resistance of the Age."

The demonstration comes in support of the people of Afrin and the People's and Women's Protection Units who are still resisting the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin. In addition, it confirms that the liberation of Afrin is an inevitable demand for the people of North Syria.

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries occupied Afrin city on 18 March after 58 days of continuous fighting by the protection units against the occupation and inflicted heavy losses of lives and equipment.

The occupation, after entering Afrin, killed civilians and abducted them, in addition to the demographic change in the population after the introduction of groups of other cities in Syria and housing them in Afrin.

Turkish practices, which rise to the level of human rights violations, have been cited by human rights organizations, led by Human Rights Watch, which reported several reports of Turkish violations in Afrin, received anti-Syrian sentiments in the areas of North Syria, many demonstrations and protests had march out today in Kobanî condemned what is happening in Afrin.
