Electricity workshops end maintenance of damage caused by dust storm

During the dust storm that swept the city, which was accompanied by high-speed air currents, it led to the damage of two feeders located in the eastern countryside of al-Tabqa city, resulting in power cuts of about 22 hours from several villages and towns.

The two feeders are the feeder between Hinida village which feeds the villages of "Hnida, al-Sefsaf , al-Sefsaf farm, al-Mansoura town in addition to second feeder between (the Euphrates dam, al-Hurria dam) which feeds 3 villages ( al-Wedian, al-Barouda, Gderan), in addition to the drinking water station in al-Swiedia Northeast  of al-Tabqa, the agricultural pumping stations on al-Baleikh channel.

The Co-chair of the Directorate of Electricity, Eng. Asaad al-Najres said: "The emergency workshops carried out complete maintenance of the feeders, re-energizing and feeding the villages with electric current, where the maintenance and repair work lasted about 10 hours."

Other faults caused by the dust storm are the intermediate cables in both Hinida and al-Sefsaf villages, an electric damage as a result of a seam between the cables, an average tower break in the southern countryside of al-Tabqa.
