Who is Farid Atti, Co-chair of General Council for autonomous adiministration of north , east Syria

On Thursday, the Syrian Democratic Council SDC held an expanded meeting of the democration autonomous administration and local administrations to form a joint department for coordination between the autonomous and local administrations in the meeting hall  for SDC in Ain Issa district.

During meeting Farid Atti and Siham Qario were elected to be Co-chair for autonomous administration to north and east

Lawyer Farid Atti, from Kobany district, he has been practicing law for 10 years in Kobani canton . At the beginning of the revolution in North Syria he worked in the field of social justice and was one of the founders of the Center for Justice and Social Peace. He was elected a member of the Social Justice Office of (TEV-DEM) Democratic Society Movement which was organizing the society at the beginning of the revolution in North Syria.

After the liberation of the city of Kobani from terrorism by People and Women Protection Units(YPG, YPJ) and establishment of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Kobani canton was appointed as Co-chair of the Justice Commission for a year, and then elected as head of the canton social justice council

Elected as Co-Chairman of the General Council for  autonomous administration of north and east Syria

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held interview  with the Co-chair to the General Council for autonomous administration to north and east Syria Atti said  "We will work with fullest extent to be able to work according to the administration charter which says that the autonomous administrationin North Syria and the local administrations in the east must coordinate and work on enacting laws, Which guarantees the rights of society in all its components, and the realization of the principle of equality and social justice among all groups and sects of the people.

Atti pointed out that this meeting is considered a founding session of the autonomous administration of north and east Syria, "where we will hold other sessions later At this meeting, 70 members of the General Council for autonomous administration .And two persons have been assigned to form the basic bodies of executive, legislative and judicial administration, and after their performance the oath the administration will immediately begin their work

"For the Social Justice Councils, a conference will be held between the social justice bodies of the Democratic Autonomous Administrations and the justice bodies of the local administrations. The members of the Judicial Council will be elected and the members of the Justice Council will be ratified by the General Council for Autonomous administration of north and east Syria," he said.

The General Council for autonomous admioistration in the north and east of Syria, according to the Charter of the Council, has 13 members, 4 representatives from al-Jazzera region , 2 from Kobani canton , 1 from al-Raqqa city, 1 from al-Tabqa area , 1 from Manbij city,  and 2 from Deir –ez-Zor city.

As for elected him as Co-chair for autonomous administration for north and east Syria, Atti said"I will work with all national spirit on the general principles contained in the Charter and achieve justice and equality between all the spectra and components of North Syria."
