Lawyer: No international law legitimate Ocalan's isolation

Strict isolation has been imposed of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan since his arrest by the Turkish occupation state, as well as preventing his lawyers and his family from meeting him under false arguments and pretexts, and in this regard ANHA agency met with the lawyer and member of the Social Justice Committee Abdullah Mohammed Mustafa.

Abdullah pointed out that since February 1999, the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan has been living in Imrali prison alone and facing various kinds of pressure from the Erdogan government.

He said that the goal of the Turkish fascist state by imposing the strict isolation on Ocalan is to exterminate the Kurdish people and to prevent the dissemination of the ideology and philosophy of Ocalan aimed at liberating people from authoritarian regimes.

Abdullah confirmed that the plot that lasted Ocalan failed because all people believed in his ideology and philosophy.

Since 2012 the leader Ocalan, was forced to isolate him and prevent his lawyers from meeting with him and his family, although this isolation is contrary to international laws and ethics.

Lawyer Abdullah Mustafa mentioned some of the laws of 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states:

Article (3) - Everyone has the right of life, liberty and security of himself.

Article (5) - No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel and inhuman treatment or punishment.

Article (9) - No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile.

Abdullah stressed that the isolation of Ocalan proves the involvement of the Turkish government in financing and sponsoring terrorism and eliminating all symbols of freedom and democracy.

He appealed to the human rights organizations to play its role to put an end to the Turkish state for violating all charters, and seek to lift the isolation of the leader and disclose his position to public opinion.
