World Campaign To Liberate Ocalan entered new stage

The meeting was held today at the European Media Center in Brussels, where many of the attendees talked about Ocalan and the importance of his release in the presence of prominent figures from England, Italy and the Basque region in Spain.

Before starting the meeting, the actress talked about the initiative "Freedom for Ocalan and Peace for Kurdistan", Having Guneser told the Euphrates news agency "We will start a new stage of the World Campaign to Liberate Ocalan. All of our activities next year will be for the freedom of Ocalan."

Guneser also said they had collected 10 million signatures for Ocalan's freedom around the world and appealed to all to support this campaign and demand the freedom of Ocalan.

Basque General Coordinator Arnaldo Otegi said "I am here to show my support for all the women and men who demand freedom, including Ocalan, I will work for the freedom of Ocalan and I promise."

Otegi said he remained in prison for 14 years and put in isolation and that he knew the conditions of isolation well. He added, "The goal here is to break the will of the Kurdish people, not just Ocalan."

Otegi noted "I appeal to all international organizations and the international community to find a solution to the Kurdish problem through political means and to start peace talks again."

He said that pressure must be increased on Turkey, pointing out that Ocalan is not only fighting for the Kurdish people, but for all people.

The representative of the "Durham Miners Association" of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, showed his support for the Ocalan Liberation Campaign and noted "Even if Ocalan were liberated and the Kurdish people managed themselves, we will continue to support them."

The "Durham Miners Association" is one of the largest associations supporting the liberation campaign of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, where a large festival was held on July 14-16 for workers and presented to Ocalan.

For his part, a member of Naples City Council in Italy, Elinor De Magu said he attended the meeting with the permission of his municipality, and pointed out that the people of Naples support the struggle of the Kurdish people for freedom, "I confirm my support for Ocalan, he was detained for 20 years unjustly."

De Magu pointed out that they were granted an honorary citizenship for Ocalan in 2016 for this reason.

De Magu confirmed that he was confident that Ocalan would be released, that he would achieve lasting peace in the Middle East and would bring peace and security to all Europe.
