Future Syria Party held 1st meeting in Dêrik

QAMISHLO

The meeting was organized by the Future Syria Party as the member of the organizational office in Qamishlo Mowafaq al Ahmad, the member of the Central Relations Committee of the Future Syria Party Stirstan Haji, the co-chair of the party’s office in Qamishlo Asmahan Ibrahim and the Youth Office Mohammed al-Dakhi, Dêrik people, the Civil Society institutions’ members, the Martyrs’ Families Council and a number of the political parties attended the meeting.

After holding a minute of silence, the member of the Relations Committee of the Future Syria Party Stirstan Haji explained to the people the goals and program of the party within the absence of national political parties, gathering all the sects and segments of the Syrian people and their different nationalities, sects and religions.

Haji stressed, "The Syrian people need a progressive political party at this delicate and decisive stage to return back the national cohesion among all the Syrian people, reject all forms of racism and chauvinism, believe in the political and peaceful change and hold a social contract and constitution that would establish a decentralized and democratic Syria based on the principles of pluralism and democracy."

And then, the discussion opened for the people to inquire about what is the essence of the party and its objectives and role at this stage.
