Kremlin to Trump: Regime is preparing to solve problem of terrorism in Idlib

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a press statement on Tuesday, "There is no doubt that the problem of the terrorist presence in Idlib must be solved, and we are aware that the Syrian army is preparing to solve it."

He added, "The launch of warnings without taking into account the risks of the situation in Idlib on the situation in Syria as a whole does not appear to be a complete approach nor comprehensive.

Piskov's statements came in response to what President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter on Monday as he warned of happening a humanitarian disaster as a result of the possible attack of Syrian forces with Russian and Iranian support on Idlib.

Peskov said, "This represents a significant danger to the temporary points of our forces in Syria, as you know, from areas in Idlib, various types of drones that pose a threat to our forces’ points are launched."

Russia has resumed its bombing against Idlib after a halt lasted for 22 days. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the air strikes targeted the countryside of Idlib near Jeser al-Shughour at the western side.
