Aleppo residents denounced destruction of shrines , pledged to liberate Afrin

With the arrival of the first day of Eid al-Adha, hundreds of people from Aleppo city, with their sons and fighters, went to Abu Shiyar Square in al-Seken al-Shebabi neighborhood in Aleppo, to visit martyrs' shrines in commemoration of their heroism.

After the arrival of visitors to the square of martyr Abu Shiyar, the visitors held a minute of silence followed by delivering two speeches on behalf of Martyrs' Families Council delivered by Aytan Rasho and the second on behalf of the General Command of YPG and YPJ, by Ziad Xemgin.

The 2 speeches confirmed that the sacrifices made by the martyrs paved the way for the free people to get freedom and added "Without the sacrifices of the martyrs, which were presented in order to protect the people and the gains made by the revolution, we would not stand at this moment."

The speeches pledged all the martyrs of freedom and the people present, headed by the families of the martyrs, go ahead and work for the liberation of Afrin at all costs, so that the mothers of martyrs return and visit the shrines of their children.

After the speeches, the audience wished that the new Eid would be the day of victory over the "oppressors and enemies".
