Manbij confirmed following martyrs' path

During their visit to the martyrs’ graves, the officials and the people of Manbij confirmed their following the path of the martyrs. They noted that thanks to the martyrs’ sacrifices, Manbij was liberated, and they enjoy freedom and democracy today. They also congratulated the martyrs' families on Eid al-Adha.

Visiting the martyrs' tombs is one of the most important rituals practiced by the people of North Syria because they consider the martyrs and their sacrifices as the basis of their liberation from terrorism and tyranny.

In this context and on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, officials and members of the Democratic Civil Administration, the fighters and commanders of Manbij Military Council, the families of the martyrs and hundreds of people from Manbij and its villages visited the martyrs' shrine in Manbij.

The visitors placed garlands on the graves of martyr.

Then, the visitors held a minute of silence. After that, the administrator of the Martyrs' Families Institution Khanem Ibrahim delivered a speech and congratulated the martyrs' families on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Then, a speech was delivered on behalf of the Manbij Military Council by the commander Ibrahim Hamdan who pointed out that the martyrs are their real leaders and added, "Thanks to the martyrs, we have reached what we have today. We are on their way, and renew our pledge to continue the struggle until the goals for which the martyrs sacrificed their life would be achieved."
