HPG: 2 Turkish soldiers killed in Şemzînan

The Media Center of the Popular Defense Forces(HPG) issued a statement to the public opinion regarding the operations carried out by the Guerilla forces against the Turkish occupation army and the campaigns launched by the occupation in Mûş and Dersim areas.

The text of the statement:

"Our forces carried out on August 20 and at 20:30 and within the framework of the revolutionary campaign of the martyrs Pêroz and Agirî, an operation against the Turkish occupation army in Şemzînan district.

During the operation carried out by our forces, two Turkish soldiers were killed.

On August18, a campaign was launched in the vicinity of Xaçalî Rengul and Balli Mezra areas of Dersim, during which the Turkish occupation forces used drone, helicopters and Cobra, during their campaign to set fire to the forests in the area.

On the evening of August 18, the Turkish occupation army launched a campaign in the areas of Martyr Amad and the martyr Axin in Mûş, and the campaign ended on August 20 without achieving any actual results.
