March in Qamishlo commemorated August 15 Leap's anniversary

Under the slogan "In the spirit of August 15, we are increasing the pace of the revolutionary people's struggle to live free with the leader Ocalan", Qamishlo people commemorated the 34th anniversary of the August 15 Leap.

A mass march was held in Qamishlo city on the occasion of August 15 Leap, when hundreds of residents met today at 17:00 in the Osman Sabri roundabout in the western Neighborhood from which the demo began.

Asayiş Forces, Society Protection Forces, the commanding officer, and the Traffic participated in the march and the Kurdish Red Crescent was also present in anticipation of any emergency medical condition.

The participants in the march held pictures of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, pictures of the fighter Ageid and pictures of the martyrs.

They people chanted slogans calling for the freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and denounces the isolation imposed on him. They headed toward the March 12 Martyrs' Playground where the demo stopped.

Resistance of Afrin is Heritage of August 15 Leap

After the participants held a minute of silence on the souls of the martyrs, Mezgin Ahmed spoke on behalf of Kongra Star and congratulated the anniversary of the August 15 Leap on the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, and all those present "August 15 marked the resistance and struggle of the peoples of the Middle East. Now, no one can deny the existence of the Kurdish people, Afrin has resisted for about two months and continues to resist the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries who launched savage attacks on Afrin ."

Furthermore the march ended by holding al-Debka dances and the revolutionary songs.
