Nursing course to develop, raise health awareness among Tal Hamis people

In order to develop health awareness among Tal Hamis district people of Qamishlo canton and train them on how to deal with diseases in the absence of doctors, as a result of the region's lack of health centers, a training course was opened to develop and health awareness.

The course was organized by the Health Committee of Tal Hamis District Council in cooperation with the Health Committee of Qamishlo Council, with the participation of 40 trainees who will receive training by specialists in the health center in the district.

The course will last for 28 days, during which the trainees will receive the methods of injecting the muscle, intravenous and subcutaneous needles, the method of dealing with burns, sensitivity tests, pressure measurement, temperature measurement, fractures and how to deal with them.

The aim of this course is to educate the people, teach them ways to deal with the various diseases, in addition to developing health awareness among the people of Tal Hamis in the absence of doctors and the region lacks the existence of health centers.

After this course, similar courses will be held in the town councils, "Abu Jeren, Tal Ahmed, Okaz and Jaza".
