Martyrs’ families condemned Turkish violations against cemeteries

As the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries destroyed the Martyr Avista Khabour Shrine two days ago, the martyrs’ families in Tirbê Spiyê denounced this coward and immoral practice.

During an interview with the Hawar news agency, the member of the Martyrs’ Families Council in Tirbê Spiyê Saeed al-Habib said, "The Turkish occupation state has, as usual, done an action that violates all human and moral values ​​by attacking the Martyr Avista Khabour Cemetery in Afrin canton, demolishing and destroying it."

Al-Habib noted that this is not the first time that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries demolish the holy shrines, especially the shrines of the martyrs as they have previously done that in Bakur and Başûr Kurdistan, and today in Rojava in Afrin occupied canton.

Al-Habib pointed out that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries realize that the martyrs have a great rank in the heart of the Kurdish people and the peoples of North Syria, and this practice is an expression of their hatred towards the strugglers who stood against the occupiers and mercenaries and repelled till the last drop of blood in their veins.

The mother Suad al-Hussein stressed that the Turkish state is trying by all means to hit the values ​​of indigenous peoples including their attempts to demolish the martyrs’ shrines which are sacred symbols of the peoples in general and the Kurds in particular. Turkey seeks to annihilate the Kurdish peoples.

Abdel Rahman Ahmed said, "Erdogan pretends Islam and considers himself a successor to Muslims. Any successor is he to destroy and ruin the Muslims and martyrs’ graves, this has not done by the enemies of Islam themselves, but Erdogan, his army and mercenaries did it."

Ahmed pointed out that this inhumane and immoral practice is a reaction of the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries after the political and economic failure that follows Erdogan in addition to their realization that their policies in the area would be headed towards an utter failure and that Afrin will be liberated sooner or later.
