Turkish occupation destroyed Avista Khabour Shrine

In flagrant violation, the Turkish occupation army destroyed the Martyr Avista Khabour Shrine which includes the corpses of hundreds of martyrs of the Resistance of the Age in Afrin.

A source from Afrin canton told ANHA agency that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenary factions destroyed on Friday the Martyr Avista Khabour Shrine with a bulldozer.

The shrine is located near Afrin city on the road of Marata village, and named by the legend Avista Khabour who exploded herself in a tank of the Turkish occupation army.

In addition to the tomb of Avista, there are hundreds of tombs of martyrs who were martyred during the Resistance of the Age in Afrin.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish occupation army has earlier destroyed the Martyr Sido Shrine which also includes the corpses of hundreds of martyrs of the People and Women Protection Units

These violations come in the context of the state of insecurity in Afrin canton and the inhuman practices practiced by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries there.
