HPG operations in Barzan, Çelê

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) issued on Saturday a statement on the Guerilla operations in Barzan and Çelê, during which the forces revealed the record of a fighter who was martyred in Amed.

The text of the statement is:

“In the framework of the revolutionary campaign of the Martyrs Pîroz and Agirî, our forces carried out on August 10 at 9:50 an operation in Colemêrg and targeted the soldiers of the Turkish occupation who are stationed on Xeregolê hill. During the operation, our forces targeted the fortifications of the enemy while the number of the killed and wounded of the Turkish occupation was unknown.

2 Turkish soldiers killed in Barzan

On the same day at 20:20 within the revolutionary campaign, our forces targeted the soldiers of the occupation on Bayrak hill of Barzan area of Başûr Kurdistan. During the operation, the enemy received painful blows and 2 Turkish soldiers killed. After the operation, the occupation army shelled the area by mortars.

A campaign in Pasûr

On August 8, the occupation army, in cooperation with its hidden units, carried out a campaign in the area between Pasûr and south of Mûş city in Amed. The campaign that started with drones continues.

The martyrdom of HPG’s fighter in Amed

In our statement that was published in July 29, we mentioned that on the 21st of the same month, our forces targeted an enemy’s area near Kijilnizê village, during which 8 soldiers were killed. During the clashes erupted there, our friend Aram was injured and in order not to be captured by the enemy, he detonated a grenade was in his own pocket and promoted to the rank of martyrdom.
