Jafar: Turkish occupation applies Melli Charter to achieve its ambitions

The head of the Roreign Relations in Afrin canton Suleiman Jafar that the Turkish state seeks to implement the project of Mustafa Ataturk represented by the Melli Charter, which is considered that the southern border of the Turkish state starts from the Mediterranean Sea and ends in Kirkuk through Aleppo, al-Raqqa and Mosul.

Suleiman Jaafar's remarks came during an interview with Hawar news agency (ANHA) to talk about the Turkish attacks against Rojava areas and Başûr Kurdistan.

Jaafar said that the Turkish ambitions to annex North Syria 's areas and south Kurdistan to the Turkish state dates back to the reign of Mustafa Kemal. "The occupation of Iskenderun was the beginning of the implementation of this Melli Charter, and the second stage is the division of the areas extending from the Mediterranean Sea to Kirkuk to divide and then occupy it.

With regard to the positions of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) from the Turkish occupation, Suleiman expressed regret for the statements made by the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan region, which demanded the PKK to leave Başûr Kurdistan

Jaffar added "Kurdistan is not a particular party and not a property of a certain party, Kurdistan belongs to all Kurds, and the ideology of the PKK says that the Kurds are in the four parts of Kurdistan, and this party has the right to exist wherever the Kurds are."

Jaafar pointed out that the Turkish occupation is now trying to occupy south Kurdistan to achieve its historic ambitions, and also praised the historical resistance that the Kurds are fighting against the ambitions of the Turkish state"Our hope that there is resistance against the Turkish state, especially in Afrin canton, which was occupied by Turkey with the terrorist factions belonging to IS ."

Jafar noted that the history of the Turkish occupation is full of mercenary gangs to achieve their interests. He confirmed byTurkey's support for the mercenary gangs in Afrin. "The mercenary gangs in Afrin they are starting to feel of its end, they are committing more acts of looting, kidnapping, extortion and ransom."

The head of the Foreign Relations in Afrin canton Suleiman Jafar denounced the Turkish attacks and the Turkish occupation of North Syria and south Kurdistan. He called on international public opinion to remove "this brute force from the territories it occupies."
