Today, hundreds of people from Kobanî presented condolences to the families of martyr Amir Kobanî, who was martyred at Tishreen dam in Manbij, northern Syria, when he was performing his duty.

Hundreds of residents of Kobanî arrived at the funeral tent of the martyr Amir Kobanî (Amir Darwish), who was stationed in his hometown, Martyr Yahia neighborhood in Kobanî.

Within the tent pictures of martyrs, flags and Kurdish symbols were hung.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence, and then the co-chair of Kobanî canton Council, Mustafa Etou, presented the condolences to the families of the martyr. He said, "The martyrs demand the administration, the people and the free society, the martyrs are raising the spirit of love and dignity.”

The ceremony ended with slogans that salute the martyrs.
