"Free society does not exist without free thought"

The organization of society in the fabric of life and its involvement in the ranks of these community organizations is the most important aspect of the thought arena and considers it a doctrine and spirit of the community, and this is through training which builds the ethics of man and society.

The building of thought is the basis on which society builds its culture and beliefs. Nature is the container and the school in which man learns and acquires knowledge.

One of the most important issues affecting the society is to build creative personalities as well as to build a social system that leads the society correctly. Its purpose is to know its truth to build its existence and to understand this fact, to promote cultures to reflect on the essence of philosophy, culture and ethics is a rebellious look started in a new theory applied to news and the dissemination of new culture and new systems and their use in educating people.

Each academy has its own specialization, including public and private academies, where the general academy includes all the benefits of the individual and thought, including the general system such as economy, women, justice, culture, ethics and awareness of the individual within the aspects of life within a unified program for all institutions.

With the emergence of freedom in Rojava and North Syria within the revolutions of the "Spring of the Peoples", intellectual academies played a major role in organizing people and self-knowledge through intellectual lessons given according to the ideology and philosophy of the democratic nation of the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan.

A large group of people in Manbij city was exposed to extremist ideology

In Manbij, for example, disinformation has played a major role in dispersing public opinion because of the dominance of terrorist gangs over the city. Women have become a commodity sold and bought in the markets where women were persecuted by the ugliest images, before the liberation of the area by the Syrian Democratic Forces in August of 2016.

With the liberation of the city, an intellectual academy was opened, which played a major role in eradicating these negative ideas through the knowledge of the people by training on the reality of women and their role in society.

"We have noticed that a large group of people have suffered from ISIS thought," after the liberation of Manbij city from IS mercenaries, this thought reflected to the society by destroyed buildings, institutions and cultural emptiness, here comes the role of the Academy to erase the obscurantist thought, said Mahmoud Bakri, a lecturer at the Academy of Martyr Ismail Mousa.

"The enforcement of the principle of the democratic nation, which is centered on ethics among the groups of society in general, and the main objective of the establishment of academies is to build a moral society of justice and equality between men and women."

Seven academies, including four military and a women's academy, and a "Jinology” center for women's science were opened in Manbij.

Since the liberation of Manbij city from IS mercenaries, 17 graduates have graduated from the Academy of Martyr Ismail Mousa. Thousands of trainees have graduated, for the teachers, five courses have been completed and the number of trainees has reached 4,000. Military academies have graduated thousands of graduates.

"The aim of being trained in academia is to have a free, democratic and moral mindset, to become more sophisticated, and to spread moral thought across Syria, without distinguishing between sects and dealing with humanity," says Bakri.
