Syrian opposition, like drowning man catching at a straw

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with The representative of the party of Modernity and Democracy of Syria in Tel-Hamis district Eid al-Hussein said, "The Turkish government is known to seek to dominate the region according to its interests and to achieve its old glory, to establish an unjust empire at the expense of a poor and oppressed people in North Syria and obliterating of the identity of these peoples.

Eid al-Hussein stressed that the repeated Turkish threats against Manbij city and other North Syria's areas aim to distracting the world and the international community from what is happening in Afrin, and crimes committed against the Syrian people in the past.

And explained "Whatever Turkey does, it will not be able to hide what it has done against the Syrian people, from displacement and abuse, as happened in Afrin,  Jarablus and other North Syria's areas."

As for developments in the Syrian file, the representative of the Party of Modernity and Democracy of Syria noted “Turkey is cautiously watching the current situation in Syria because of the exchange of interests between the regional countries in the region. He said there is fear and anticipation of Turkey on the development of the Syrian file, especially after the turnover in the equations and balances and the interests of regional states. There were also bets on the existence of an opposition area in the south of Syria, but the situation is changed, and the Syrian regime was able, supported by Russia and its allies, to re-control opposition-held areas, there is little left in the hands of the opposition in southern Syria.

He pointed, "The Turkish government cannot be trusted, it is moving according to its interests. The opposition has sold in many areas. As for the opposition that controls areas in the north of Syria to protect Turkey, it is, as the proverb says, a drowning man will catch at a straw" The opposition, is the "straw", which Turkey may sell to the simplest interests at any moment.

Eid al-Hussein refuted Turkey's claim to wish the good for the Syrian people and said, "There is a mosaic in North Syria with its various components, and an ancient people with an ancient civilization, how does it come and expel the people, and claim to wish the good and the evidence of that raising the flag of Turkey in many of the areas occupied."
