1st conference of Women Education Committee concluded

The 1st conference of Training and Education Committee for Women in the Democratic Society in Northern Syria concluded with a number of decisions and instructions. The most important of which is to consider women's science (jinolojî) as a basis for raising the level of teachers in all aspects.

Under the slogan, "Freedom and Beauty in Women's Science to Reach the Reality of Free Life", the 1st conference of the Training and Education Committee for Women in the Democratic Society was held in northern Syria in the presence of 350 representatives from the three regions (Afrin, al-Jazeera and the Euphrates), representatives of al-Tabqa, al-Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor areas. The conference lasted for two consecutive days. On the first day of the conference, many speeches were delivered, five members were elected to manage the conference and the report of the last two years was read and discussed.

On the second day of the conference, the rules of procedure of the committee were read and discussed by the attendees. After that, a number of resolutions were issued. The most important of these was that the conference of the Education Committee for Women in the Democratic Society considers the leader Abdullah Ocalan as an example for freedom, and every attack on the leader Abdullah Ocalan is considered an attack against it. Therefore, it is struggling against these attacks and holding the various events.

The conference of Education Committee for Women in the Democratic Society considers the martyr Vian Amara who fought, resisted and martyred in Kobanî as an example, a symbol and a leader to build the system of Women Education Committee in the Democratic Society, and it considers her national standards and work in the field of the Kurdish language and her sacrifices against colonialism to be its criterion.

It will also organize and develop the mentality of the democratic liberalization and free life for the children and the new generation in addition to providing it with powers and carrying out its activities.

Furthermore , the conference ended by a speech of the co-chair of the Education Body in al-Jazeera region, Samira Haj Ali, who thanked all the participants and guests and wished them success, and that the decisions of this meeting motivated him to develop the education field in Rojava and northern Syria in general.
