Kongra Star concluded its conference in Qamishlo city

QAMISHLO

The works of the first conference of Kongra Star at the level of Qamishlo canton concluded which was held today under the slogan "In The Spirit of Resistance of The Age, We Make The Revolution of Women a Society Revolution", the conference held at the Mohammed Sheikho Center for Culture and Art in Qamishlo city and attended by 350 delegates of Kongra Star in the canton.

The draft resolutions for the conference's work put in the next two years, including supporting the Resistance of the Age in Afrin and the escalation of the struggle to liberate it, condemning the crimes of the Turkish occupation in Afrin and all the areas of Rojava and intensifying activities demanding the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the expansion and organization of diplomatic relations.

Then the door opened to select the administrators and committees of the coordination of Qamishlo canton the candidates were selected are Rania Remo, Zubaydah Ali, Rihan Temo, Walida Ibrahim, Sana Khalil and Sherin Khalil, to run the Committees in coordination ,and 5 women as administrators to the coordination Midea Mahmoud, Najah al-Qesu, Shaha Khalil, Menor Khaled.

The attendees pledged to follow the path of the martyrs and the democratic nation's approach and struggle for women's freedom and rights.

At the end of the conference, the administrator in Kongra star delivered a speech in which she thanked all those who participated in the work for women's access to such a conference, and said that it is a great step to organize women effectively in all fields.

By chanting the slogans which saluted women's resistance, the first conference of Kongra Star ended at the level of Qamishlo canton.
