Al-Shahba areas suffer from power cuts

Al-Shahba is besieged by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the one hand and the Syrian regime on the other, who blocked the roads leading to al-Shahba and prevent the entry of the needs of the necessary to the people such as "oil, generators and aid, as well as imposing heavy taxes on traders if the materials entered the canton.

During the visit of ANHA correspondents to Granada village, they held an interview with the co-chair of the village of Idris Sheikho, who said that "1100 people from Afrin displaced and living in the village suffer from the lack of electricity four months ago, after the invasion of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries to Afrin canton."

He said that they had submitted a request to the municipality of the people in the area to bring generators and address the problem, but blocking the road between al- Shahba and al-Jazeera by the Syrian regime led to delayed arrival of the generator.

In the same context, the closure of roads and the breakdown of the fuel oil, which is a basic material for citizens, led to the emergence of many obstacles and problems, including low production of wheat and barley, and others, in addition to power cuts and stop bakeries .

It is worth mentioning that the Syrian regime began to close the road between al-Shahba and Aleppo and to prevent the entry of basic materials, especially fuel, milk and medical supplies for the people of Afrin living in al-Shahba.
