At the request of American citizens to return home and request of the FBI, the Public Relations Office of Women Protection Unit (YPJ) handed over a US family who had joined Islamic State's gangs for federal police.

The Public Relations Office of Women Protection Units (YPJ) handed over a family consisting of mother Samantha Sally and four children, whose names are Maryam, Ismail, Matthew and Sara, at their request to return to their country. The extradition took place on 23 July.

Dozens of foreigners have joined to Islamic state's gangs, and statistics have shown that the number of foreigners in IS more than 41,000 and 13% among them of women.
