Şêrwan....... Martyr of Resistence of the Age

The fighters who is Şêrwan  Mohammed Hassan whose nom de guerre is Şêrwan Afrin, a fighter sacrificed his blood in the midst of a revolution in which the people of Rojava and North Syria to preserve its territory free from the occupiers and to preserve freedom and live in dignity.

Şêrwan was born on 8 May 1984 and was born in Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood in Aleppo, in a national family that is conservative in customs and traditions. Its roots are in Baxçe village in Bulbul district in Afrin region .

Şêrwan is raised between his conservative and principled family, which is distinguished by an atmosphere of love, respect and harmony. Consisting of Father Mohammad Hussein Hassan and Mother Raghda Ibash and 7 siblings (4 young men and 3 young women) Şêrwan was the second son in the family .

Şêrwan has enjoyed many qualities since his childhood, which distinguish him from the rest of his siblings and make him the place of trust and admiration of many. He was determined to achieve all his aims whatever the price, love of the country and the cause, intelligence, love of learning,  he was always humorous and smile.

Şêrwan studied until the seventh grade of the preparatory stage in both Halima Saadia and Marwan Qirqnawi schools located in the eastern part of Sheikh Maksoud neighbourhood, but was unable to continue his education for his desire to work and learn various careers

After leaving  the school he worked in various professions such as sewing, embroidery, printing and restaurants. Until he reached  to age he had to join the Syrian army in 2003, serving in Damascus, Homs and Aleppo until the end.

He married in early 2005 and lived in a house in Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood. He had three children and he was very attached to them and he always did the impossible to satisfy them.

Loving  to his homeland and defending the cause is one of its main objectives

When Rojava revolution broke out in Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood of Aleppo, he took up arms and took part in protecting the neighborhood from the fierce attacks he was subjected to and stopping at the roadblocks in the neighborhood.

He continued his national duty of protection and joined to Asayish forces at that time and when People Protection Units YPG in the neighborhood were established. Where he knew some of his friends the militant fighter who performs his duties to the fullest and round the clock and the only objective was to protect him and his children and cite for his homeland.

"One day, during the fierce attacks on the neighborhood, my wife was hit by shrapnel from an artillery shell and he told us immediately to send his comrades to his mother's ambulance," he said. "His position is that he refused to leave the fighting trenches to relieve his mother, All mothers are like my mother, my neighborhood is wounded, not just my mother.

Every part of the liberated neighborhoods of Aleppo attests to its heroism

Farhad Kobani who is one the comrade of Şêrwan said that "Şêrwan took part in many battles in the neighborhoods of Aleppo (Sheikh Maksoud, al-Mukhabarat, Bani Zaid, al-Sakan,al-Ashrafieh, and the eastern neighborhoods he had his own mark in all battles. Side by side and put the martyrdom in front of our eyes and all this in order to provide security and safety for the people."

Afrin's appeal was met by a strong, unrelenting personality

When the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on Afrin region which was launchd on the 20th of January, a number of young men Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood to participate in Resistence of the Age of the sons of North Syria Afrin, including the fighter Şêrwan

He stood with a strong and tough personality and never feared death, we were in one trench in the area of confusion and he was willing to sacrifice himself to save our lives.

Şêrwan was lighting a new lamp

Şêrwan was dreamed of martyrdom until he had got it on the fronts of Sheikh Şêxorzê village in Bulul district after the bombing of Turkish warplanes that targeted the point was protected it on 29 January.

Şêrwan 's corps was buried in the cemetery of Avista Khabor in Afrin city
