In Rojava and North Syria, which is characterized by its many components, which makes it a miniature mosaic of Syria, the women of all the components of Kurd, Arab, Syriac, Assyrian, Chaldean, Circassians and Turkmen took part in the revolution of 19 July in all its identity and colors, with each other they establish an ideal system in democratization of society and finding the best solution to the problems left by the capitalist regimes and the nation state, especially the problems experienced by women.

Women suffer persecution under the Baathist regime and participate in the revolution

As a result of the injustice and oppression experienced by the peoples of the region, especially women, and the imposition of power by the ruling powers on all aspects of life and the neglect of the role of women in society, the beginning of 2010 began the revolutions of peoples in the region, which was called the four peoples from Tunisia, then Libya and Egypt, influenced the situation in Syria as a result of the imposition of the Baathist regime dominated the people and exclusion of women since 1963, and Rojava beginning and North Syria later share in the revolution.

With the beginning of the People's Revolution in Syria on March 15, 2011, the sons and daughters of Rojava took part in mass demonstrations demanding freedom, democracy and equality as a result of the racist policies that began with the Arab circle and the policies of displacement from its regions, through the 1998 Adana Agreement between the Baathist and Turkish regimes, and finally the massacre committed in QamiŞlo of 2004 and the subsequent repression. Women led the demonstrations and painted them in the women's color.

And because Rojava was in a constant state of revolution as a result of its resistance to the racist policies and projects she was subjected to. Because the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan spent a long time and has a great role her organization, training and intellectual development, the people of Rojava have had a benefit of his ideology and he has the ability of the rest of the Syrian components to understand and absorb the revolution and the tricks of regional and local forces, and since the beginning of the Syrian revolution began to organize itself through the Star Union, which was founded in 2005, through the establishment of women's institutions and engage in the revolution in all its political, Social, diplomatic, cultural and artistic aspects.

At the beginning of the revolution, women's involvement in the revolution was limited to Kurdish women, however, as a result of the continuous interaction of the Star Union with the women of the rest of the components based on the principle that "if women are not liberated, society will not be liberated." The women of the rest of the area, Arab, Syriac, Assyrian, Chaldean, Circassians and Turkmen to engage in revolution and played the leading role in leading the community.

Women united in the Syrian revolution

In order to unify the ranks of the Syrian revolution by unifying the ranks of women, under the banner of an unified woman regardless of their nationality, religion and ethnicity, the Star Union organization organized efforts to form an initiative on behalf of the Syrian Women's and carried out many activities.

At the initiative of organizing the Star Union held the first preparatory meeting of the Syrian Initiative Women's in al-Jazeera region, under the slogan "women are unified in al-Jazeera, regardless of nationality, religion and race enough to be a woman to be unified."

The founding conference of the Syrian Initiative Women's was held at Sahara Hall in QamiŞlo city on 28 March 2013 under the slogan "Women are united regardless of their nationality, religion and race." On 17 November, an office was opened in QamiŞlo city.

From Banaber flower to the leadership of al-Raqqa's liberation campaign

The eternal Kobanî city was able to witness many of the great epics and heroines recorded by women, the Women's Protection Units in this city fought in the name of all women against the masculine system, and the voice of this historic resistance reached all the world's parts
After attacks on Kobanî canton on September 15, 2014, women actively participated in the defense of the canton against the most dangerous terrorist organization that threatens the whole world and takes the form of women's bondage. Women's protection units took command of the fronts in the battles in the canton and the guerrilla operation carried out by the militant Aren Mirkan on 5 October, 2014 is a good example.

Among the leaders who staged the events of their tournaments with their resistance and struggle were activists Zahra Benabir, Habon Dirk and Avendar, who demonstrated to the world the strength of the fighting women in defeating ISIS terrorist to reach a liberation campaign declared by ISIS as the capital of its alleged succession on 6 June 2017, the Women's Protection Units in al-Raqqa's Liberation Campaign and was the leading role in the liberating and Rojda Falat was the first to raise the banner of victory in al-Raqqa.

Avista and Baren are a symbol of the resistance of Afrin

The women's revolution continued to resist in the mountains of Afrin, which never failed to defend her land and confront the attacks of the Turkish occupying enemy. The women and fighters in Afrin showed a historical resistance.

The women in Afrin, in their participation in the Resistance of the Age, have a different history that proves their worth and ability to fight the fiercest battles and face anyone who wants to transcend the borders of their homeland.

All the women of Afrin were fighters who increased the determination and will of these women is the guerrilla operation carried out by Avista Khabor in the face of the most powerful Ottoman power, where the resistance introduced a new phase of victory in the war, which will be in the spirit of redemption and aggression and attack on invaders and mercenaries.

After Avista, Barin Kobanî put her mark in the history of the resistance women, where she martyred in defense of her land. She became the icon of free women in Resistance of the Age and her heroic resistance turned her into an hourly talk by the leading writers, poets and newspapers in the Middle East.

Avista Khabur and Barin Kobani traveled from the land of peace Afrin to the sky of freedom to become a verse drawn in history books, and be a symbol of free women, and complement the revolution of freedom of July 19.
