Two martyred sisters buried in Şercî village

The mourners received the corpses of the martyrs Dilan Sheikh Mahmoud, who was a member of the Democratic Syrian Youth Council and her sister Dilyar Sheikh Mahmoud from the center of the martyrs' families in al-Hasakah city, and embarked on a solemn march towards the martyrs' graveyard in Şercî village.

Thousands of people attended the ceremony from al- Hasakah, members and administrators of Syrian Democracies Council.

Arriving at Şercî village, the mourners carried the corpses of the two women on their shoulders and placed them on the podium, where a ceremony began with a minute of silence.

In the name of Kongra Star, Sherin Oso, the administrator, said: "al-Hasakah today deposits two light-emitting diodes, these two stars, which were examples of free women."

"To teach the enemies that their cowardly practices will not deter us from continuing to fight for freedom and democracy, we will follow the paths of Dilyar and Dilan, which were and will remain a symbol of the struggle of youth and women," she said.

Albin Ahmad the administrator of the Democratic Youth Council said in a speech, "Dylan joined the ranks of young people in early 2013, and was characterized by her cheerful spirit. Dilan was struggling with the spirit of her youth for the freedom of women and presented dozens of lectures in this regard. "

Albin pledged to follow the footsteps of the two martyrs until they reach the desired freedom.

On behalf of the Kurdistan Renewal Movement, the member Abdullah Abdul Qader denounced the cowardly act that targeted the two sisters. "The enemies of humanity fear of the free women and fear the heroic resistance offered by women during the years of Rojava Revolution, they targeted these two sisters who were pioneer in the ranks of the revolution."

At the end of the ceremony, the corpses of the two martyred women were buried in the graveyard of the martyrs amid the slogans that glorify the martyrs.

Unidentified assailants hurled a grenade on Monday morning at the home of the member of the Democratic Syrian Youth Council, Dilan Sheikh Mahmoud, as a result of the target, Dylan and her sister Dilyar were promoted to martyrdom.

It is noteworthy that the father of the two martyrs Ahmed Sheikh Mahmoud is an administrator in Asayîş forces in al-Hasakah city.
