Since the beginning of the crisis in Syria, Turkey has demanded the establishment of a separated zone in the north of Syria under the pretext of the presence of Turkmen in the areas of al-Shahba, and since August 24, the Turkish army occupied al-Shahba under the pretext of fighting IS, but the operation that was launched by the Turkish occupation army under the name of "the Euphrates Shield" was just a receipt operation from IS mercenaries in exchange for supplying the mercenaries with weapons to fight the Syrian Democratic Forces in the east of the Euphrates to block the operation of al-Raqqa liberation at that time.

During the occupation of a part of al-Shahba area, Turkey followed the same policy of the Baathist regime against the peoples of the area. Thousands of Kurdish and Arab families were displaced to Afrin and al-Shahba cantons, Aleppo and areas in the eastern of the Euphrates.

After the forced displacement of the Kurdish and Arab families, the Turkish occupation brought the Turkmen families from Iraq and the rest of the Syrian areas and settled them instead, not to mention the killing and kidnapping of hundreds of people while the fate of hundreds of young people is still unknown, in addition to thieving and looting the properties of the people.

After a period of the Turkish occupation of these areas and after the domination of the Turkish occupation on the areas, the Turkish occupation army hung the pictures of its soldiers killed in those areas at the entrances of the occupied cities in addition to hanging the Turkish flags and pictures of Turkish President Recap Tayyip Erdogan in the civil institutions.

After the entry of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries to Afrin canton on March 18 this year, Turkey and its mercenaries followed the same policy of the occupied areas of al-Shahba.

Turkey has entered communications’ towers to Idlib as a first step after entering 12 monitoring points under a de-escalation agreement signed by the guarantor countries. A Turkish convoy entered Khirbet al-Joz crossing with communications’ towers.

Some agencies close to the mercenaries in Idlib have reported that the destination may be the observation post installed in Ishtebreq of Jisr al-Shughur countryside, referring to electrical equipment that was seen with the column.

The Turkish telecom companies are installing communication towers close to the Turkish observation posts as they are protected to protect them from shelling and theft.

As this Turkish column and communications’ towers entered the Syrian depth, the Turkish policy of occupying parts of the Syrian north has been clear, not to mention the formation of local councils and the free police in the areas controlled by them, not to mention the Turkification of the north of Syria through entering the Turkish language curricula to schools.
