Egyptian journalist Ahmad al-Amid toured a number of northern Syrian cities, such as al-Raqqa and Manbij, and wrote a number of reports to Al-Watan newspaper in Egypt, summarizing his vision of the situation there.

The Egyptian journalist began his tour in North Syria from the liberated al-Raqqa city from grip of IS mercenaries, he observed in his report the beginning of IS mercenaries' entry into it, the psychological state of the people after liberation and the continued suffering of the mines, fear and intimidation they suffered under domination of IS mercenaries.

"Here in the Syrian city of al-Raqqa, they came and carried black flags with “There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," said al-Amid at the beginning of his report. No one knew them. They only saw people carrying flags engraved with religion to enter the city and live in it and rule it. No one knew that they came to distort the souls of people and terrorize them with scenes of murder and slaughter and bring ruin to their city, which turned into a pile of stones destroyed. It is the organization of Islamic State mercenaries whose members killed thousands of civilians, and their ideas and sleeper cells are still hidden in the city "they did not leave them alone, but left the land to fight with mines and booby-traps that would blast at them at any moment, but also the people fighting the memories they left on their minds and feel free to dream of them, and the horror of living inside them of Daesh’s return to avenge the organization, so that they cannot afford to utter what was going on during domination of IS mercenaries.

On October 10, 2017, the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF soldiers arrived at the Black Stadium in al-Raqqa city the last of the largest fortifications in the city, and they are fighting their last battles. 8 months after the declaration of liberation, the war is still going on even after the exodus and defeat IS mercenaries. It is a war of another kind, as promised Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi he promised to "mines" tp everyone who wanted to live in a city that is not ruled by IS mercenaries.

In the city whose streets have been closed by the rubble of the destroyed buildings, some of which hide the corpses of their owners. A number of their sons offer security, remove fear and terror, and the remnants of bombs and mines of IS mercenaries, and all that they have left to revenge those who will live in the city they took as their capital in Syria."

The Egyptian journalist quoted the stories and suffering of the people during domination of IS mercenaries on the city

Where he says at the beginning of his talk about Manbij city and about the situation in Jarablus city, adjacent to the city but now it is under the control of Turkey's gangs. Many of them from the Islamic factions that form the Free Army, Jabhit al-Nusra and remnants of factions which were established during Syrian revolution," he says, people of Manbij accuse the Euphrates Shield that includes the remnants of the organization of IS mercenaries who fled the city during the war of liberation, where they fled there and changed their clothes, so people here in Manbij and fighters on the border. They consider themselves to be on the Turkish border, even the occasional shells, some of them are heavy artillery and tank shells, which are not available to these factions and are owned only by the armies of the big countries."

Journalist Ahmad al-Amid quoted Guli Hoşeng who pointed out that elements of sleeper cells are trying to provoke public opinion and demonstrations, but their attempts have been of no use because the people have overcome Daesh mercenaries, other pre-Daesh factions and can differentiate between the good and the bad, pointing out that there are many parties playing in Manbij city because of its strategic importance, and that there are those who took advantage of the incident where troops found two corpses near the Euphrates River and accused the security forces of killing them, which was published by the media claiming tendentious violations of security forces against civilians, saying the two persons found were missing from the days of the liberation of Manbij, and the forces themselves helped find the missing persons and handed over their corpses to their families, so how are they killing them?

On the participation of women in Manbij Military Council, the media official in the Council adds that fighters from the city join the forces of Manbij Military Council, where they are trained to defend themselves first, then martial arts, noting that there are fighters from the Kurdish Women's Protection units, participated in the liberation of Manbij and 7 martyrs fell.

Al-Amid also quotes other citizens who did not want to be named so as not to abuse their families inside the Turkish-occupied Jarablus and its gangs, the parents have ruled out leaving the city and insist on staying stubbornly against Erdogan and not leaving the city to IS gangs where their families live in Jarablus  and confirm that IS gangs are at home with the rest of the other factions and led by the Turks.

The Egyptian journalist referred to the Turkish threats to Manbij city and the situation of the people and the fighters. He notes that during Erdogan's launching threats to Manbij, the fighters of its military council were fighting in Deir-ez-Zor city. "In the east of the Deir–ez-Zor front, 300,000 kilometers, the military battalions and forces of Manbij launched a summer offensive on IS gangs organization who is still in control of its last fort near the Iraqi border.

In Manbij city, a long waiting period passes, especially for the fighters who crowd on the northern border of the city, for them it is not only the war, from time to time face a few shots and shells that pose no threat, but they describe them as provocative attempts where some of the missiles come in the vacuum, so they call it " funny war".

The Americans, according to the journalist al-Amid have begun to concentrate their teams west Manbij, where a potential Turkish invasion lies, Americans are now considered responsible for the city they had been involved in liberating about two years ago from IS mercenaries.

In Manbij, the journalist also met with the commander of Manbij Military Council, Mohammed Abu Adel, a commander of the Free Army and commander of Shams al-Shamal battalions in Kobani.

As Abu Adel expressed confidence and his willingness to defend Manbij, he also expressed his reassurance to the relationship with the Washington-led international coalition and responded to the Egyptian journalist's question: "Are you satisfied with the American presence and their military role, The American ambassador toured the city to reassure the people, this is our goal, and we invited the journalists to take tours inside the city and meet with the people without having any military to see the city on their nature, their impression of our forces and their role in extending security, and I think I got a tour of the city without a military escort.

As for Afrin, it did not miss his tours and his narration of the situation in the Syrian north. Al-Amid recounts the tragedies caused by the Turkish aggression he says, "under the name of the Olive Branch, the planes and helicopters took off, the vehicles and tanks launched and the guns fired their shells and shots toward Afrin city, which has lived in security over the past years, and large numbers of refugees from all parts of Syrian headed toward Afrin city which is considered safe shelter.

On the night of January 20, after the Turkish declaration of war on the Syrian city of Afrin, this large campaign targeted not only the military sites, but also the safe houses, streets, roads and factories. Many villages were destroyed and about 1 million were expelled. While the factions carried out the looting and pillage of the homes abandoned by the people to survive themselves in a terrifying flight of rockets and missiles and corpses lying on the long road.

In the midst of what was happening in Afrin, the Egyptian journalist did not forget during his tour the family of one of the most prominent martyrs of Women Protection Units (YPJ) Barin Kobani, whose body was subjected to horrible practices by Turkey's gangs  which incident was described by al-Amid "an incident turned into a symbol stamped on the forehead of a military campaign for a non-war humanitarian."

The eldest brother in Barin’s family which consists of 8 sons and daughters responding whether he had a message about what happened or who mutilated his sister's body, he said: 'I do not care about the person, I care about the thought implanted in their minds, if you bring him right here, I would not personally revenge, but inquire this extremist terrorist mindset they adopt, because they are a victim of the ideology of the jihadi Muslim Brotherhood.

The head of the foundation, Sheikh Mohammed Mullah Rashid Gharzani, said that the Council of the Union of Muslim Scholars adopts the moderate thinking and opens its doors to all sects and all who admit they are Muslim, even if they consider it deviant, in order to open an area to remove differences and broaden visions among all; noting the Union plans to establish branches in the other canton in northern Syria if they become independent, in favor of religious federalism and sees it as the way to resolve differences between Muslims in Syria, because each region has its customs and traditions and is the most appropriate to develop a fatwa appropriate to its people, appealing to al-Azhar in Egypt to cooperate to develop Curriculum and collaboration with the Council to spread moderate Islam, where he sees the institution of al-Azhar great religious entity, which expresses moderate thinking in the world, and that the region is exposed to the Iranian missioniers which is to be dealt with with containment rather than confrontation."
