Expanded work plan to improve service situation in al-Raqqa

The people municipality in al-Raqqa launched an expanded plan to improve the service reality in the city and provide circumstances for the return of life to the city. The plan includes several service aspects according to officials.

The co-chair of the people's municipality in al-Raqqa Ahmed Ibrahim said the project includes a plan to clean the city, extend water and sanitation networks, restore the city's beauty and splendor, repair damaged roads and meet the needs of people's services .

The plan, set by the municipality according to Ibrahim, extends over a period of five months and aims to restore the water to the entire city, and repair the water and sanitation networks, as well as cleaning and transporting rubbish from inside the city to the allocated places. The cost of completing the plan is estimated at about $ 245,000,000

The project, which is being implemented in cooperation between the Civil Council and the people's municipality in al-Raqqa city aims at improving the service sector within the city and will provide job opportunities for many people.

Furthermore, Ahmed Ibrahim stressed that the people's municipality has the necessary machineries to complete the plan.
