HPG dealt Turkish soldiers harsh blows

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) issued on Thursday a statement to the public opinion, in which it revealed the results of its operation against the positions of the Turkish army.

The statement said:

"In the context of the revolutionary campaign launched on behalf of Pîroz and Agirî martyrs, the Free Women Units-Star carried out an operation against a hill, on which a security point located, on the road of Bezel post in Şemzînan area of Colemêrg, on July 4, at 09:00. The forces dealt the hill blows from 4 sides and destroyed their fortifications. In addition, the number of the killed and wounded in the ranks of the Turkish army was not confirmed.

In June 27, the Turkish army launched a large-scale attack on the areas of Başûr; Farqîn, Karaz, Licê and Hezroya of Amed city.

In June 28, the Turkish army raided Lêcokê village in Licê district and arrested the residents. The Turkish army withdrew from the area on June 30 without achieving its goals.

On July 2, the Turkish army launched an attack on Pulumura area of Dêrsim city. During the attack, the Turkish helicopters shot the area.

On the same day, at 21:00, the helicopters brought the Turkish army’s soldiers into the vicinity of the village of Dereboyû.

On July 3 at 16:00, the Turkish army withdrew from the area without reaching its targets.
