Conference members: Our resistance continues, Afrin liberation is our goal

The members of Tahrir Afrin Conference continue holding a series of meetings for Afrin people who are residing in al-Shahba districts and villages to explain the details of Tahrir Afrin Conference’s decisions.

The conference’s members met Afrin people who are living in Wahshiya village and hamlets, Taana, Joba and Nirabiye villages in al-Shahba canton to explain the details of Tahrir Afrin Conference’s decisions, and to listen to the opinions and suggestions of the people. Furthermore, hundreds of people attended the meetings.

The meetings started with holding a minute of silence. Then, the final statement of the conference was read, and speeches were delivered by the members of the conference as they talked about the Turkish attack against Afrin, and praised the people’s resistance beside YPG and YPJ against those attacks over 58 days. The speeches assured that the resistance is ongoing till Afrin would be liberated.

The speakers also explained all the details that have been discussed in the conference, the most of which was the heroic resistance shown by Afrin people and the fighters against the fiercest attacks.

The speakers focused on all the deficiencies and mistakes that have been emerged in Afrin previously during the works of the military and civil institutions, and not taking the necessary security measures in case any attack would be launched.”

Then, the conference’s members listened to the opinions and proposals of the people about the future stage, how to work in order to avoid the deficiencies and to go about liberating Afrin.

In conclusion of the meetings, the members of the conference criticized themselves before the attendees about these deficiencies and errors that emerged in Afrin.
