High-level delegation in Manbij

The delegation included each of Lindsey Olin Graham who is an American politician, the member of the Republican Party and the United States Senator from Carolina state and Cynthia Jeanne Shaheen, the member of the United State Senate.

The delegation was received in front of the building of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Manbij city and its countryside by the commanders of Manibj Military Council (MMC) and the administrators in the civil administration.

The delegation went around the markets of the city and met the people within them, as the co-chair of the Legislative Council Farouq al-Mashi, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration Mohammed Sheikho, the head of the Future Syria Party Ibrahim al-Qaftan and the general commander of Manbij Military Council Mohammed Abu Adel participated with the delegation.

Previously, several American delegations visited Manbij city that draws itself to the world’s attention through the continuous Turkish threat to occupy it similar to other areas of North Syria.

The visits come to assure faking the Turkish claims as far as the American-Turkish agreement about Manbij, and the Americans confirm their support to the current administration that is represented by the people of the city themselves.

Similar to the previous delegations, the visiting delegation assured the people and Manbij administration that they support the security and stability which is witnessed in the city currently.
