HPG: 4 Turkish soldiers killed in Mardin, Colemêrg

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) stated that within the military operations of the martyrs Pîroz and Agirî that was launched in June 30 at 15:00, the Guerilla Forces carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation army in Lilekê hill in Shemzinan district in Colemêrg. According to the statement released from the media center of HPG, the enemy’s fortifications and police stations were targeted. In addition, during the operation, a Turkish soldier was killed.

The media center said that on the same day at 19:20, the Free Women Units launched a sniper operation on Harona hill in Shemzinan, and during the operation, a soldier was killed.

The statement also talked about the operations carried out in the framework of the campaign of the martyr Delel Amed and Besta martyrs. The statement said, “In June 29 at 21:30 near Diwan village in Kerboron district in Mardin, the forces carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation army near Iliswi Dam, and two soldiers of the occupation were killed.”

The statement noted that as the Contra existed in Golê village in Jakharsh area on July 1 at 12:00, they were targeted by the Guerilla Forces, but the outcomes of the operations have not been known yet.
