Afrin people: With general alarm, we are resistant till Afrin liberation

The series of meetings was held in Ahares, Fafin, Tel Qerah, al-Ahdath and Kafar Naya at the invitation of Afrin Liberation Conference, in which hundreds of Afrin residents participated.

The series of meetings began with holding a minute of silence, followed by reading the final statement issued by Afrin Liberation Conference. After that, the details of the conference were explained by the members of the conference, and they referred to the reasons and necessity of holding the conference, “For the first time, as administrators, we went through a period of self-accountability. We gave our criticism and self-criticism in front of the martyrs and the people."

The members of the conference praised the heroic resistance that lasted for 58 days against the most violent and strongest attacks, and stressed to take further measures, and that they can contribute to the continuation of the resistance. They also stressed that the people of Syria in general and Afrin in particular must be ready, in the state of alert, and organize their ranks on this basis.

Afrin people, in turn, affirmed their commitment to the spirit of the general alarm, and the spirit of the Resistance of the Age which is ongoing in al-Shahba canton.

Furthermore, the meetings ended with chanting the slogans which salute the Resistance of the Age and glorify the martyrs.
