Qamishlo people denounce Turkish occupation's attacks on Başûr

Qamishlo city’s people condemned the attacks of the Turkish state on Başûr Kurdistan and the crimes of murder and torture daily committed against Afrin people.

Dr. Nuri Kali explained that as a citizen Qamishlo city, he would never accept the occupation of the Turkish state and said that they wanted to live within a federal and democratic Syria.

Mother Ghazal Mohammed at 70-year-old said that the Turkish state's goal of occupying the Kurdish areas is to keep the Kurdish people under its control. Mother Ghazal said we do not want anything other than our language and freedom because the state denied them to us, and no matter what attacks Turkey launched on us, we will respond to them and resist in accordance with the mindset and thought of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocelan. As Kurdish mothers, we will preserve our land, which has been sprinkled with the blood of martyrs and will not abandon it.

In the same context, citizen whose name is Shiyar Ali referred to the occupation of the Turkish state of the Kurdish regions and cities, which seeks to achieve their interests at the expense of the Kurdish people and keep them under its control, Shiyar pointed that no matter how Erdogan fooled himself and other fascists, one day, his truth will be revealed to everyone and victory will come in the end and will be an ally of the Kurdish people.

For his part, Jacob Dao said they want nothing but to live in peace on their land. He condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupying state on Başûr Kurdistan because there is no difference between Başûr Kurdistan and Qamishlo city for the Kurdish people. Jacob explained that they will always stand in the face of the Turkish fascist state and will triumph in their revolutionary spirit.
