DAA’s visiting delegation met Rojava Revolution’s supporters in Başûr

The co-chair of the Executive Council in al-Jazeera canton Abdul Kareem Sarokhan, the member of the Diplomatic Relations of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) Kamiran Mehdi, the co-representative of the DAA in Kurdistan Region Jawidan Hassen, and the members of the representation Fateh Allah Husseini and Slava Suleiman met representatives of the delegations that have visited Afrin previously to support the Resistance of the Age and Rojava Revolutions, and that are represented by Kurdistan Parliamentary delegation, Kurdistan Women delegation, and al-Adyan (Religions) delegation.

During the meeting, Abdul Kareem Sarokhan shed the light on the total political developments ongoing in Rojava and North Syria, the victories that were achieved by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in all arenas and fields, and the current situation of the occupied Afrin canton, stressing that the victory would by their ally in the next stages, especially that they depend in their projects on the will of their resistant people in Rojava and North Syria.

Abdul Kareem, the co-chair of the Executive Council in al-Jazeera canton talked about the importance of the Kurdish united speech towards the conspiracies made against the Kurdish people in the four parts of Kurdistan, especially after the Turkish intervention into the lands of South Kurdistan and the governmental silence towards that, emphasizing on the necessity to join the efforts to cease the Turkish expansion in the lands of South Kurdistan.

In its turn, the visiting delegation confirmed the importance of what the Kurds have achieved in Rojava; political, military, and diplomatic achievements, assuring on the same time that their attention is directed towards Rojava and North Syria, and that the Turkish expansion in South Kurdistan amid the governmental and party silence is in itself the undermining of the people’s will in South Kurdistan.

The meeting lasted for more than two hours in the office of the DAA’s representation in al-Suleimaniya city.

In the same context, the presidency of the Executive Council met the member of Kurdistan National Conference Taha Rasoul who emphasized on the necessity of the continuation of Kurdistan’s support to Rojava, and seeking to hold a Kurdish National Conference to stand against the Turkish aspirations in Kurdistan’s all parts.
