Kurdish writer: isolating Ocalan attempts to discourage Kurds from claiming rights

This came during a statement made by the Kurdish writer in Başûr Kurdistan Mohammed Amin Pinjwini to the correspondent Hawar news agency. Pinjwini said the Turkish state was avenging of an "international leader like Abdullah Ocalan because of his liberal ideas for the Kurds and all the components of the area, which is what the Turkish state does not like."

Pinjwini referred to the historical hostility of the Turkish state of the Kurds in the four parts of Kurdistan. "The chauvinist Turkish state saw that Ocalan is the author of a theory to solve the crisis of the area, which led the peoples of the area to believe in his ideas, so Turkey imposed isolation on him.”

He also noted that the enemies of the Kurdish people are fighting by all means of political, ideological war, in addition to the armed war. The latest of these methods is the isolation of Ocalan "it is a part of the Turkish policy, which is trying to force the Kurdish people to make concessions “in terms of their freedom", and the Kurds must be aware enough to realize the seriousness of this stage.

At the end of his statement, the Kurdish writer Mohammed Amin Pinjwini called on all international institutions and human rights organizations, especially Hague Tribunal, to intervene and carry out their humanitarian duty against the Kurdish leader. He appealed to the Kurds, especially in Europe, to take part in demonstrations and pressure on the European Union and Turkey "in order to allow the lawyer and the leader Ocalan's family to meet him."
